According to DOE, if adopted as estimated, LED office lights can save up 348 TWh. This is equivalent to $30 billion in terms of saving on energy bills. LED lights are also one of the best lights when it comes to improving the productivity of the employees.

According to a study done by the American Society of Interior Designers, 68% of total employees, complain about the light in their workplace. Nearly 75% of them also believe that they could be more productive if the lights were more energy efficient. 

In another same kind of study by Cornell University study also found a conclusion which somehow complements the same. It found out that 24% of total office workers believed that poor lighting caused them eye strain and discomfort. Not only this, when the lighting was switched to LED lighting, but the worker productivity also increased by 3%-5%.

Bad lighting can cause inaccurate executions of some complex tasks. Good lighting, however, can result in accurate carry out of complex tasks like that in factories. 


With LEDs, like the study by Cornell University depicts, an improvement of 3-5 percent was observed. 

With LEDs, employees’ performance goes up, while the electricity bills go down. An ALL WIN deal right?
